 Coolness: 86405 | well, i was only there for around 3 hours but here's my list of pros and cons..
PROS - i got to see some friends who i hadn't seen in a long time, that's always nice- -the only sets i caught most of was scott's and naithan's, both pretty rockin' -Sound quality was pretty beefy (though the power went out in the 2nd room a few times) CONS -i hate that venue!! -the door people were NAZI'S!!! I heard they were even checking all the dj's and such. that's fucking insulting and disrespectful. They aren't checking for safety reasons, they're making sure you buy all your water and drugs off them at their inflated prices. 4 dollars for water is criminal.. that's like paying a "thirsty tax" the guy at the door even tried to scam my doritos and a granola bar.. i thought that was pretty funny- I asked him if i could just go hide the chips in the bushes instead of tossing them and he said he'd let me keep them as long as i kept them in my bag and coat checked it right away- "You get caught eating those inside.. i take them away and kick you out" what a generous fellow.. he sure knows when to give a guy a break- |

Nice bunch of assholes up in the place. A doorwoman who tells the DJs to "Shut the fuck up and open your bag" And then procedes to empty my wallet and insists on checking MY KEYS to see if I've got anything with them. Plus the staff stealing clothes and bags and giving them away to people before the party is even over? I don't give a fuck what happened last week. This wasn't last week. |

I know holding an event in an 'after-hours' is safer for a promoter.. (legit venue, usually comes with a good soundsystem.. etc.) but personally, i never want to step foot into an afterhours club again- bunch of fuckin shit-pirates-! |

Just cause of that I'd likely never play there again unless it was for seriously a lot of money. rule #1 DONT HARASS THE TALENT. When I was at john B not long ago I almost stormed off and left due to rudeness and that would have meant one less ticket sale for the promoter (in da jungle)... Seriously if the staff is going to be like that then that place is hopeless as far as I am concerned... I don't call that professional security, I call that harassment in order to maintain a drug cartel inside the place.
Oh yeah and I still was able to stash my friends weed in no problem, so much for thorough security :D |

So unless it doesn't belong to Amilya I guess it's yours now. She did have a lot of clothes in her bag I think so you should make sure with her. |

If they don't want a bad name they don't have long to find my stuff or get rid of that guy, cause I really don't take well to that, and if they wanna be professional the first step is beign a little more responsibel and getting this nobody out of the place. If I was the owner he'd be gone in a second, not for strealign ppls money or drugs but for stealign their personal shit for no reason, He coudl hav made it available to us afterwards at least. Hvaign an idiot employee to do a sly job is not gonna help them out. Especially considering we know exactly who he is. |

He should not be there. Plenty of other people can do what he does, and with a little more class. I can't support that, most people have their whole lives in their bags and nothing justifies taking them and being so careless with them, obviously people are gonan want their shit back after, and whatever is going on it can be going on in a more proffesional way. If they don't please their clients and customers a business can't work out. This idiot even went to the length of stealing shit from a place where he knew important people might have their stuff, he even gave stuff from that room to friends of those people. He's an idiot and a cruel one at that. he's just the stupid floor manager, he can't be that important. All the other people I've met who work there are proffesional as far as I can see, and nice people. This guy shouldn't be around to fuck shit up for everybody else and as long as he's around no one's shit is safe, he has access to everything. |

At least 25 people came up to me durring this time to see if I can do anything about this "problem"... This has never happened at the gravity since I have gone there but on June 25th for about 45 minutes there for sure was no cold water running and only hot water. I hope they never do this again in order to sell more water. |
