that was S.I.C.K !!
totallly hot !! Got in around 10, Dj Wonder played some wicked underground grime music, 'longside a few breaks tunes , and ended it up with a few classic ragga jungle jems tight mixes, quick mixes, wicked selection he even played that JAMMIN-Go dj- tune , made my night :) then Dizzee Rascal, with Dj Wonder dropping the beats, and some backvocals help from this other uk dude, came in totally off the hook sound was perfect, basslines were pumpin Dizzee's flow was even better live cant say more ...that was just out of this world .. so freakin bouncy when in the middle of some tracks they blended the Dead Prez-hiphop- choon it went nutz, same with an old Nas classic, and Terror Squad's Lean back ..just using the instrumentals to bust up freestyles .. how can one rhyme that tight and fast ? 20 years old, wise, honest, performing big time they played around 20 choons i'd say or more pretty much all choons off Dizzee's 2 albums and a few unknown original grime ones killer !! kept the 2 smash hits for the encore which added crazyness to the whole thang only thing is Club Soda's drinks prices ...but we all knew that in advance ..and the crowd was into it but not as bouncy as it should've been .. fawk i had a wicked time |

this shit was the bomb, this guy's should be makin millions cause they kill most rapper's..
i dont think they freestyled a single word though man. but this was the best show i've been to in a long time, holy shit ,it was soo worth the 18 bucks i would have paid more. Dj wonder has the hardstepper;s tunes, sase jumped on stage and tossed wonder our music, let's hope they call us ,that would be hype. |

The show was off the fuckin' hook. I've been hooked on Dizzee since i saw the video for "Fix Up, Look Sharp" about a year ago on Musique Plus.
He's amazing live and he flows so perfectly. I went insane when he did "Stand Up Tall" (my fave track). I was worried he was only going to do "Fix Up, Look Sharp" for the encore. Definetly worth every penny, and I certainly would've paid more. My only complaint was the clusterfuck at coat-check. It took me 30 mins to get my coats. |

This was a really sweet show. I'm just so impressed by Dizzy's rapping. To me that was the show. It would have been cool if they did a little more with the lights and stuff, but I guess it gave the show a more raw feel. It was awsome to see how many people are diggin this type of music. It seemed like a electronic music crowd. |
