Nah, je plaisante. :P Malheureusement, je lis pas vraiment en Français depuis un bout. Faudrait je porte plus attention aux auteurs d'aujourd'hui. Tout ce que j'ai vu dernièrement c'est du Anne Rice Francisé et ça me lève le coeur. (pas seulement à propos de vampires mais tout ces pseudo mystère/thriller pour ados) |

moi tout ce que je lis qui est français ça date de l'époque du romantisme si non c'est de la philosophie grec qui n'est pas originalement français il est crissement temps que recommence a fouiller dans la littérature française |

I really liked the Midnight Meat Train movie because in a lot of ways it reminded me of that story.. kind of like a modern re-imaging of the story.. though I think a nice proper take on Pickman's Model would be fuckin' awesome as hell.. |

Et Daf, H.P Lovecraft, la base de pas mal tout ce qui est horreur aujourd'hui :) Un écrivain d'horreur né en 1890 et le père de tout ce qui est Cthulhu et etc. Mon nom ici vient de tout ça :) Plus tu lis du Lovecraft, plus tu te rends compte que une grosse partie de tout ce qui est horreur, films, livres, voir musique, en est aujourd'hui inspirée. |

j'ai vraiment rien contre des lectures noir et tout en faite j'ai du lire juste presque ça. Pas horreur, mais le personnage principale déprimé, qui se cherche et n'a pas de raison de vivre etc etc horreur j'ai moins lu, ça pourrait être intéressant mais si j'ai demandé pour des livre léger c'est justement pour faire changement, et parce que je suis trop heureuse pour lire que du noire :) ça restera toujours mes histoires préférés, et c'est même le type d'histoire que j'écris, mais ça fais du bien de se changer les idées avec des petites nouvelles sans méchanceté :D |

Par contre l'horreur de Lovecraft est passablement différente. A la fin de tout, ce qui est horrifique est pas les monstres ou gore mais "l'illumination" d'une personne qui soudainement comprend que le monde est infiniment plus vaste et sombre qu'il ne l'aurait cru et qu'on est que des marionettes. |

La meilleur façon d'expliquer est que Lovecraft trouvait beaucoup de "weird fiction" avait rapport avec des contacts entre l'Homme et le Mal (personifé en Lucifer et diverses démons). Bref, des histoires qui font peur qu'à des pratiquants religieux. Il a voulu trouver un type d'horreur scientifique et philosophique qui ferait peur à un athée. Enfin, faut pas oublier que c'est des histoires de plus d'un siècle en arrière, donc ya pas mal de propos scientifiques et philosophiques "nouveaux" de son époque qu'on voit aujourd'hui au primaire/secondaire mais pareil, c'est bien fait :) |

This summer I should finish my books and Foreign Affairs essays before buying new ones. Last one that I actually finished is "The Ascent of Money" by Niall Ferguson. |
