ok Anticon
do you guys HATE them LOVE em or indifferent? haven't been following what they're doing in a long while but my favorite purchase sofar is Alias - 'the final act' b/w 'awaken' & 'three phase irony' EP. He's a less corny Sole and probably makes the best beats in the whole camp although i didnt quite feel his Muted album. Seem like everyone screws up when they try to make an instrumental album only. Blockhead screwed up and so did El-p with this Little Johnny from the hospital garbage or whatever album it was that was remixed instrumentals off Funcrusher. So yeah.. check out that Alias Ep which is probably unpossible to cop cause i can't even find the friggin cover art online... it's pretty dope also, simahlak and sixtoo battled out with the same stack of records. Bully records put this out a while ago. it's those two with the same stack of records, sampling that shit into beat and each side of the 10" is one of em. i've only heard clips of it online and i think it's a sick idea. that's the coolest shit right now. they even got these ultra limited magazine that has graphic artists battling each other in print. |

Blockhead stopped making beats for Aesop Rock. Ace Rizzo's first Ep on Def Jux was so-so and then he was completly le suck. nothing like music for earthworms or float. fucken def jux.
buy all their first Ep's tho and avoid those wack Living Legend guys (eligh is cool tho) |

"Matth worked the ASR10, Sixtoo crashed his MPC2000. Both guys have vowed never to talk again."
