Simple Tings co-founder Haze has been a follower of jungle/drum&bass since the early days in 1992, and has been playing the music for the Ottawa massive since 1997. He is the host of the "Futurhythm" radio show (CHUO 89.1 FM, Wed. 9:00 PM), and has played many of the city's top clubs and parties. Known for his varied tastes, Haze always tries to showcase the spectrum of sounds that exist in jungle/drum&bass. Recently Haze has jumped into the recording studio with fellow Ottawans Just Joe and Threesixty, making tracks as "Counter Weight". |

Doublecross started DJing in Toronto in the late '90s spinning every form of drum n bass and jungle, from ragga to techstep. Over the years he began specializing in the more soulful, musical side of drum n bass, and is now considered one of the foremost purveyors of this "Liquid Funk" sound in the city. DJing has always been his main passion but recent time in the studio has shifted the focus towards production. Watch for him to continue to push the boundaries on both fronts. |
