A Buddhist monk contemplated for many years in Tibet. He
decided it was time to go to New York and he soon arrived. Still
wearing his orange robes, he walked up to a NYC street hot dog
vendor, he said, "Make me one with everything," and
winked at the vendor, recognizing the pun he'd made.

The vendor made up a hot dog with onions, relish, tomatoes,
etc., and gave it to the monk. The monk gave the vendor a $20
bill. The vendor took the twenty and started to help the next
customer.

The monk said,"Wait, where's my change?"

The vendor smiled and winked and said, "Change comes from
within."

It's not because something is artificial that it is necessarily worthless. Drugs, I believe, can be beneficial for one's mind. It's a tool, you can do harm to yourself, or do some good. And most people don't use them properly (including myself).
