that is true if u inject in your veins...u might even k-hole before you take the needle out

but you can inject in your muscle and you won't k-hole for about 8-10 minutes...thats the way to go

no

a designer drug is a term used to describe pressed pills with labellings that are cut with different elements to give an expected result. The use of labels and marketing with these pills is another important element of the term designer drug. The E pills you buy at raves are designer drugs. Pure MDMA is not.

Your partially right. Designer drugs are cut with different chemicals to evade certain drug laws, not necessarily to give expected results.

And term was coined for MDMA... among others.

i hope your kidding. Cutting coke with baking soda won't make it any less illegal. You are confusing chemicals with the broader group that the term designer drug encompasses. MDMA is not a designer drug. MDMA sold in a pretty pill with a pretty label is. It has less to do with the chemical and more to do with the packaging and the marketing. Designer drugs are cut with different elements because most designer drugs come in pill form and making a pressed pill requires different agents to make the pill stick together. And the other reason being that it is cheaper and the last reason being , it will provide a new sensation. A designer drug makes reference to drug manufacturers using new recepies to provide new sensations.

anyways this is all semantics but the important thing is that you guys are all wrong .

then show me a source. To suggest that drug manufactures cut their drugs to evade drug laws is absolutely rediculous. Pure cocaine is the same as cocaine cut with a lower class drug. Getting busted with 20 kg of pure cocaine is the same as being busted with 20 kg of dirty cocaine. I can't think of one logical reason to why this would even be a consideration. They cut drugs because it is cheaper , provides a new sensation , or is an integral part of the drug medium ie pressed pill.

If by reading you mean reading the morons on this webpage , i think you should seek out new sources.

Err...

1 : a synthetic version of a controlled substance (as heroin) that is produced with a slightly altered molecular structure to avoid classification as an illicit drug
2 : a synthetic drug created (as by genetic engineering) to treat a particular medical condition especially by producing a specific effect on the body's biochemistry

Designer drug

n : a psychoactive drug deliberately synthesized to avoid anti-drug laws; mimics the effects of a banned drug; law was revised in 1986 to ban designer drugs

...umm:

Designer drug is a term to used to describe psychoactive drugs which are created (or marketed, if they had already existed) to get around existing drug laws by modifying their molecular structures to varying degrees. The term originated with law enforcement, but has gained widespread use. The term was originally coined in the 1980s to refer to various heroin like synthetic substances, mostly based on the fentanyl molecule. The term gained widespread popularity when MDMA (aka ecstasy) experienced a popularity boom in the mid 1980s. In the United States, the Controlled Substances Act was amended with the Controlled Substance Analogue Enforcement of 1986 which attempted to ban designer drugs pre-emptively by making it illegal to manufacture, sell, or possess chemicals which were substantially similar in chemistry and pharmacology to Schedule I or Schedule II drugs.
